Kicking 2020 off with our love of NATURE! Join the SunnySunday team as we enjoy Summer by getting outdoors for a nature walk and talk, followed by a picnic.

Meet at Arataki Visitor Centre by 11am for a short talk, before we head over the road to complete the Arataki Nature Trail with guided nature talks along the way.

Arataki Nature Trail is a 45 min loop track, graded easy. Perfect for all ages and fitness levels! The trail includes Kauri Cathedral showcasing beautiful Kauri trees over 500 years old.

BYO picnic if you feel like joining the SunnySunday community for a picnic lunch at Arataki Centre immediately after the walk and this also allows free time to explore Arataki Visitor Centre, the lookouts, Waitakere Ranges giant photo frame, and more.
